Catholic Society (CathSoc)

Catholic Society, meets each Tuesday evening at 18:15.Meetings begin with Benediction in the chapel and involve a catechetical talk or discussion in the Hall upstairs. All students welcome.

Society of St Vincent De Paul

SSVP are committed to expressing their love of God through personal service of their neighbour and by providing outreach to those experiencing hardship of some kind. We arrange regular collections and provide for those most in need, be it food, financial assistance or friendship.

Meetings: Monday at 5pm (fortnightly)

Legion of Mary

The Legion is a lay apostolic association with the aim of glorifying God through the holiness of its members – holiness developed by prayer and active co-operation in Mary’s and the Church’s work. This includes visiting families and the sick, both in their homes and in hospitals, as well as involvement in each apostolic and missionary undertaking supported by the parish.

The Society of St Maria Goretti is the women's group located in the chaplaincy. We give Catholic women, student or otherwise an opportunity to meet with other Catholic women to pray and discuss our faith. We meet every other Thursday in Turnbull Hall
